The Federal Government ecoENERGY program is back, but registration into the program must have been done prior to January 28, 2012. There are many rebates available for upgrading your home, including up to $790.00 for a new high efficient furnace. The Government of Canada's ecoENERGY Retrofit program has successfully reached its goal of 250,000 participants and the Government announced on January 28th 2012 that the program is no longer accepting new registrations. Those households who have registered have until March 31st to complete the work and June 30th to complete the post audits and paperwork. Click here for more information. |
